hi speed train fee for kids/children

Hi there,
Need to know about kids fare for hi speeds. Im planning to take the speed type from xi'an to beijing. Will bring together few kids in family. Thank you

The child under 120cm can board for free by sharing the seat with adult. The child under 150cm can enjoy the child discount of 50% off for seats. By the way, one adult can only take one child under 120cm for free.

Ferdinand, thanks for the reply. Its means that the fare for children apply the same rules for both slow rail and hi speed?

Hey, for the seats they are the same. But for sleeper bed, the child discount is different. It is around 25% off and some sleeper type on hi speeds do not have child discount. The height standard is the sane.
