When does the spring festival being and end?

does January have any thing to do with it please let me know thank you

Well, the modern Spring Festival is from Jan. 1 to 15 on Chinese lunar calendar. It is from Feb. 7 to 22, 2016 on solar calendar. However, the holiday starts from Feb. 7 and ends on Feb. 13, 2016.
