The Gegentala Grassland (you may catch their Nadam Fair) and the Hulunbeir Grassland are highly recommended. As they are far from township and city, it is best to have a tour guide or native person accompanied. Besides, there are some other scenic spots near Hohhot City like Dazhao Temple and Zhaojun Tomb. With two weeks, you can see many attractions.
