24 hour direct transit to china

Hi again,I was told to get a 24 hour direct transit to PRC for a short stay in Shanghai from our cruise.Where do I apply for it?Thanks,Judy

I have the same issue, our cruise ends in shanghai and I want to go back to US. without all the fuss using a transit visa. 72 hr is all I need after a 17 day cruise. Thanks. It's hard to confirm information.
