winter visit the panda base

Question

I would like to ask what is your opinion, is it a good time to visit now? We would go next Monday, only for a short trip, arriving Monday 11 AM, leaving on Wednesday about the same time. Originally wanted to go for the hot springs, but both are quite far from Chengdu, Mount Emei is also about 400 kms away. This Research base is one of the main attractions, anyone visited it during winter?

Yes! Winter is a good time. They are actually more energetic in winter. You will see these lovely creatures bathing in the winter sunshine, and eating bamboo. They are pretty cute! Have fun there! :)
