About:Marco Polo Memorial Museum

Passport Expiration Date, has it to be valid for six months?

By the time I travel to Beijing in February my passport will have 5 and a half months of validity remaining. Will I still be able to visit on a 72 hr free transit permit? Or will I have to apply for a full visa?

Tara, you are still able to use the 72 hour free transit.

I read that there has to be a third country to use the 72 hr transit. Is this correct?
I would be flying Seoul>Beijing>Seoul. Or would I have to plan something like Seoul>Beijing>Macau

Yes, you have to fly to a third country or region. The first route is not eligible but the second one is ok.
