pick up by someone else?

Question

I live in Denver, so it's a pretty far trip to the Consulate. If I am able to drop off my application in person, would it be possible for someone else to pick it up for me? Or, if I had to pick one or the other, would it be better for someone else to drop off and for me to pick up in person?Also, is it possible to make an appointment? Thank you!

Kate, you don't need to make an appointment. Actually, you don't have to show up at the consulate. Just ask your friend to drop off and pick up the application for you.
