Can I go to Deqin from kunming?

I will go to KM on 10th march 2016.
1.Can I go to Deqin on my arriving day(10march)?and what time?
2.Can I book the ticket to Deqin in progress?If I can,How can I book?If I can't,where can I buy the ticket?
3.Can I go to Deqin in March?I worry about the weather and the closing road.
4.Where should I go between Deqin or Yading in March?
5.My plan is not sure because of the weather,So Can't I book the hostel in website?I have to walk-in.I worry that I can not find the hostel in March.What should I do.Please recommend

1. yes you can go to to Deqin from KM
2. I use ctrip to check the flights schedules and book from them

1&2. You can take a direct bus to Deqin from East Bus Station for CNY 258. The bus departs at 19:00, and the duration is about 13 hours. You can buy the tickets on the spot upon arrival.
3. Yes, you can. The road won't be closed unless there is heavy snow. Don't worry. Just pay attention to weather forecast then. According to previous weather statistics, the temperature may range between 28F and 52F in March, and it rains and snows sometimes. So, you are advised to take down jackets, sweaters, warm pants, boots, and a raincoat.
4. Actually, both are okay. The temperature is similar, but the scenery is different. In Deqin, you can see snow mountain, while you can enjoy the beautiful lakes, forests, and glaciers in Yading.
5. March is not a peak tourist season. So you can easily find a hostel. Don't worry! Nice trip! :)
