Anyway, you may try to search cheap flights of this route Jiuzhaigou to Chengdu and then another one to the destination. If it is still expensive for you, you may consider taking a long-distance bus from the valley to Chengdu first and then catch a train or flight to reach there.

Further to XA, you are advised to take a train from Chengdu Railway Station, and the trip takes about 10-18 hours.
