Recommended Mausoleum in Xian

Hi there

I will be in the city on 15th March and understand there are many mausoleums near to the city that are opened to visitors. Due to time constraints I can only visit one.

Which one would you recommend? My preference would be one that is most accessible using the public transport and not too far from the city. Appreciate your advice. Thank you

I'd rocommend the Qianling Mausoleum. At the east square of XA Railway Station, you can take tourist bus line 3 to reach there directly within 2h. Only one bus is scheduled daily leaving at 08:00 and it gets back at 15:00.

Hi, Andrew. You can also consider Yangling Mausoleum of the Han Dynasty. I went there last Sep. There were much to see~

You can take tourist bus line 4 from City Library Station (available by subway line 2) to get there. The trip takes about 1 hour. The buses depart at 8:30, 9:30, 10:30, 12:00, 13:30, 15:00, 16:00, and 17:00. The buses return at 9:30, 10:30, 12:30, 13:30, 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, and 18:00.
