About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

I've just finished my exchange studies here in Korea and now I would like to travel to China.

However, my intention was to go to PRC, then Vietnam, back to RPC, Mongolia, back to PRC and then US.
Is it possible to get the 6 months multiple entry one ? Do I need to have all my accommodations alrady booked for this whole trip? About 3 months in total but only 40 days (in and out).
By the way, I have a Portuguese passport?

Mauricio, if it's the first time that you apply for Chinese entry permit, I'm afraid it will be difficult to get the six-month multiple entry permit. However, if you can book all the accommodation and transportation tickets, it may be possible to get the multiple entry permit. In this case, you may take a larger risk because your money may be wasted if the application is not approved. Anyway, I advise you to consult this at the embassy and find a best solution.

Hi Alice. Thank you so much for your answer. Yes, indeed it's my first time in PRC.
So do you think it would be a problem if I apply for a double entrance permit, leave PRC, and then apply for a single entrance one once I'm in Mongolia?

Thank you Alice. I contacted them and apparently, the 6 months multiple entry is just for business, not for tourism. So will try the other option.
