Dear sir/madam,I'm Ukraine Permanent resident living in Ukraine,but with RUSSIAN Passport.(USSR times).I have to visit my step father who works in China (on Z type).1. I want to stay with him as Family member2. We both have Different family names.3. I became step son when my step father married my mother. (My step father Australian)4. I want to stay with them longer than 30 days since I'm the only relative for my mother and father.5. Where do I apply in Ukraine. ( I cannot and will not go to Russia) because of political situation 6.What documents will I need to present to the Chinese Embassy?

I'm afraid your passport cannot be used to apply for the PRC entry permit. You should find a way out and try to renew your passport first. Only after that can you apply from the PRC embassy in Ukraine for an S type by providing the certified relationship certicate between your mother and you as well as an invitation letter from her if she is in PRC now.
