do i need any visa to go out side and visit some chines market or stay in hotel?

I booked my ticket from korea to india but i have to change airport Shanghai Hongqiao intl - terminal 1 and need to depart from Pudong Airport. I have lot of time to change mine stay is 16 hours in china.

Will my baggage be transferred Directly to Pudong or do I have to drag it by myself?
