About:China Visa

Do I need to get a new Chinese visa if I renew my passport? (Pakistani National)

I am Pakistan national but I am working and living in Dubai - UAE. I have valid Q2 type, which is expiring on 13th January 2016, I was planning to travel on 11th January 2016 but when I went to book the ticket, the airline told me to renew the passport because my passport validity was less than 3 months, I will get my new passport on 11th January 2016, so still I can travel on 11th January 2016 or I have to take a new Chinese entry permit on my new passport?

Dear, you had better apply for a new entry permit on your new passport, just to play safe.

Thanks Mark. Will apply new Chinese entry permit, delay my plan 1 week is better than taking 10 hours flight back from China after being rejected at immigration.
