About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

What if I don't live near an embassy or consulate?

I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico and am traveling to Beijing and then across China to fly out of Hong Kong to Bangkok in the fall (spending a total of 3 weeks being a tourist in PRC).

I need to apply for a Chinese visa but don't live anywhere near an embassy. Can I mail my application in? Is it still possible to get an entry permit if I can't physically go apply at a consulate?

Thank you so much!

Sofia, sorry, you can not submit your application by mails. If you can't go to the consulate in person, you can entrust your friends or an agent to submit the application for you.
