About:Erhai Lake

Camping around Dali

Hi. I was wondering if one may cycle and camp around Erhai Lake, and hike and camp in the mountain ranges.

Yes, you can go cycling and camping around the lake. You are advised to camp near Shuanglang or Caicun Wharf. The scenery is pretty fascinating. Remember to make full preparation for the camping, including tents, carpets, warm clothes, food and water, medicine, knives, flashlights, etc. You are advised to go camping with someone else, which may be safer. Take care and have fun!
