About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Can i change my student x1 visa to a working type without living China?

Can i visit USA from PRC with a student x1 type for two weeks, i am self supporting of my trip i have no invitation later will the embassy give me the entry permit?

It's possible to change your student X1 to a Z type without exiting PRC, but it's not very easy to do that. You can find an employer and get the required offcial documents, then try to convert the X1 at the exit and entry adminsitration division of local Public Security Bureau.

It's possible to get the US entry permit if you make full preparations.
