About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Do i still need to acquire a travel visa for Shanghai if it is only a connecting flight?

Hello! I have a connecting flight coming from Manila-Shanghai-Jeju-do, SK.
I hold a Philippine passport.

Hope to hear back re: this.

Maggie, it depends on how long you transit. If less than 24 hours, then you needn't apply for any type. If longer than 24 hours, then you should apply for a transit type in advance.

Oh alright! Thank you! It's just a 2-3 hour delay so fortunately I won't be needing to get it :) Less hassle. Thanks again!
