About:Visa Policy of China

Do I need a copy or my old passport in order to get a work travel visa?

Hello, I went to China in 2000 on a student type. What if I don't have the original expired passport with the student type from 2000?

Dear, yes, it is needed.
Did you lose it? You have to provide proof to prove that you've been to PRC before. A copy is okay.

Well, perhaps you should contact Chinese embassy or consulate to ask for help. They exactly know how to deal with your case.
