About:Three Gorges Dam

From Yichang East to the Three Gorges Dam?

We arrive at yichang east by train. Which is the best way to get to the dam by public transport and how long does it take?

Helene, you need to walk to the Passenger Transport Center Bus Station on the Tongqiang Road. There you can take Yichang-Zigui Bus. It costs CNY 18. You just need to tell the driver that you need to get off at the dam and go to the bus exchange center. There you can take bus to visit the dam.

Or you can take a taxi to Yemingzhu and then change bus no. 8 to the exchange center. Taxi fare is around CNY 40. No. 8 bus ticket is around CNY 10 to 15.

It's just around 450 yards (400 meters) from the railway station. Of course, you can walk there easily.
