Changing a L to a M?

hey there i have a question. I'm currently in china and have been asked to stay for 2 months work as a performer. can i go to the PSB here in beijing to change my visa from L to M or do i have to leave the country?

Yes, it's possible to change the L type to M type. During the process, you need an invitation letter from the company, your passport, a recent photo, and a registration form of temporary residence.
