The price for T8701 from Hanoi to Nanning

Hello, I'm travelling to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam next January. I'd like to take the night train from Vietnam to China, but I wonder if I will be able to buy the ticket at the station, (as I will come across the Chinese New Year. ) And what's the price for the ticket from Hanoi to Nanning? Thanks very much!

It is better to book in advance. The price is CNY300 from Nanning to Hanoi, but for the return trip, you'd better ask a local booking agency.
