About:China Customs Declaration

goods for exhibition cum sale

Do we have to declare all the goods we are bringing in checked in baggage for exhibition cum sale?

Well, you'd better declare them all in case of any problem. But if they are in a large scale, the customs may ask for the ATA-Carnet.

What is ata-carnet?
Also,if spices/masalas as sold in India supermarkets r taken to china,will they be allowed?

It's an official permit that allows you to import things into PRC. As I said, if you plan to take in large scale, you should get the permit.
