Chinese handmade dough dolls on sticks

I will be visiting Nanning soon. Where can I buy Chinese handmade dough dolls on sticks? Are they costly? Can I book from the local tour agency if I plan to visit De Tian Waterfall? I heard it's a long journey there. Is it worth going there? Thanks a lot.

Hi, Janice, what you are looking for is called Mianren in Chinese. You may try to find in the local People's Park and Jiangnan Water Street. I heard one Mianren only costs CNY10-15. Hope you can find it successfully.

As for the De Tian Fall, you are right about that, it is a long journey. And I suggest you join a local tour, which is a cheap and simple way. For the booking, your hotel can help you with finding a good agency.

The fare varies a lot based on service standard, accomodation and dining, etc. For reference, it is about CNY 400-500 for a 2Day1Night trip with standard service rate.

Yes, it contains meals, accommodation and entrance tickets. If your hotel cannot contact such tour, you can go to NN Tourist Distributing Center. You can easily find tours there. It's located at No.10, South Youai Road, Xingning District.
