About:Jade Dragon Snow Mountain

Hi. Is it possible to ski at Jade Dragon Mountain on 29th December?

I would also like to walk around to explore. If so, do I need to stay overnight there? How much would it cost?

Yes, you can ski at scenic area's ski resort at that time. In addition, it's ok for you to climb the mountain.
You are suggested to stay at the hotel nearby the snow mountain. Most tourists choose to stay overnight and appreciate beautiful sunrise in the next early morning.
There are many youth hostels with cheap price and clean living environment. You can choose one when you arriving. In general, the fare is CNY 150 to 300 per night.

May I know where to stay near Jade Dragon Mountain? Is it near Baishan Village?

Yes, you can find several buget hotels in Baisha Village, or Shuhe Old Town.
