Back from there 2 weeks ago, very cold then, I stayed in the Bremen Hotel, it was OK comfortable enough, city its self is not nice . Very industrial, not cheap, not like Beijing dont look for too many bargains but very friendly honest people there: You have to try the Chinese fondue, unbelieveable, you wont regret it: Bon voyage. Ciaran

You shouldn't listen to this person. I live here, and this city is infinitely cheaper than Beijing if you eat the yummy local food (province specific) OR just chinese food like great noodle dishes, Hong Shao rou, Lu Rou Fan, Guo Bao Rou, etc, and I think pretty interesting considering it's size.
