About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

do i need an invitation from there to apply for F visa

my last visit to china was over 5 years and if i want to go back

Senaka, if you apply for the F type, you need to get two invitations. The first one is an "Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Unit" or "Confirmation Letter of Invitation" from Duly Authorized Unit. The second one is an invitation letter from a relevant individual or organization in China.
