About:China Tourist Visa

first time china visa application from malaysia

Hi, I'm from Malaysia and will be travelling shenzhen (3 days) by take MTR once arrive Hong Kong. Can I apply with air ticket (only Malaysia to Hong Kong) or I must Book hotel at shenzhen before submit for approval? If I am only travel purpose, do I need any invitation Letter?

Hello, Keith, the air ticket from Malaysia to HK is acceptable when you apply. And you should book the hotel before submitting the application.
No, you don't need to provide any invitation letter. Air tickets and hotel reservation are enough.
Actually, it's possible for you to apply for a 5-day VOA. In this way, you don't need to apply for an entry permit ahead of time.
