ideas for women's' clothing for a holiday in china

Am taking a three week holiday, last week of March first two weeks in April, with a few days in Beijing, before catching the bullet to Shanghai. Any travel- worthy clothing tips?

It will be a little cool in Beijing with the temp range of 7C to 20C. It rains a little sometimes. For the succeeding trip in the other city, the lowest temp can be 10C and the highest may reach 24C or a little higher. Considering all, you are suggested to bring long-sleeved shirt (or light sweater), leather jacket, light jacket, pants/jeans and long john in case.
