Changing jobs on a z visa

I've already had my z type approved for teaching. However, I now have the opportunity to work for a different company in a toally different role. The new job pays sgnificantly better and they are licensed to employ foreigners. My question is wheather anyone can tell from my z type that it relates to teaching? Can I submit my current z type with the documentation from my new employer for my residency permit?

Dave, if you take your new job, I think your school will cancel your employment certificate first. Then they will report your situation to local entry and exit management bureau. Therefore, your current resident permit will be cancelled.

In this case, you should ask your new employer to apply for the new work permit. Taking the new work permit, you need get back to your country to apply for the Z type again. Then you get back to change the work permit into employment certificate and apply for the new resident permit.

I think you'd better ask your new employer on this issue. What I said above is the usual process for changing a job.
