About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa Free 24 hours

Hi, I'll be arriving Shanghai and departing back to Singapore on the same day. But i need to go out of the airport for a meeting. Do i need an entry permit? I'm holding Netherlands passport.

Your flight route is Singapore - Shanghai - Singapore?

Then you need an entry permit for China as you´re not eligible for the 24h free transit (you have to fly out to a third country, not back to the country of origin).

Thanks! So I assumed BKK - Shanghai - SIN is eligible then? Netherland passport
