About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72-hours transit visa

Hi! Is it enough if we have a confirmed ticket for a flight that leaves within 72 hours from Shanghai or do we really need a ticket with confirmed seats (which you usually get when you check in i.e. 24 h before flight departure)? If so, how can we get confirmed seats before check in time, so that we don't have to stay at the airport to wait for check in to begin?

Tia, it doesn't have to be a ticket with confirmed seat. But you need to hold an air ticket with confirmed date to a third country or region. Just in case, you'd better contact with the frontier inspection at the airport to confirm it.
