About:Bao'en Temple Pagoda

can my employer cancel my work permit and Z visa?

Dear , I want to know that my work permit and my Z type is with me and I haven't give to my employer and I want to change job.

Danny, I think you should have employment certificate rather than work permit. Your employer can go to local labor bureau to cancel your employment certificate. He/she can't cancel your Z type or resident permit. However, they can report your situation to local entry and exit management bureau. Then the bureau is able to cancel your Z type.

By the way, if you plan to change a job, you also need the release letter from your current employer.

But I ask from local Agent they say they cant cancel employment permit and Z type coz in my case my company have open a trade company and had made me a director and all original documents are with me and still I don't understand when all documents are with me how can they cancel , do you have any idea in my case

Danny, the company may need the original copy of your work permit in order to cancel it. As you said you have the document at hand now, they may not cancel your work permit. However, you had better get another one from the next employer so as not to get involved in troubles.
