About:Hong Kong MTR Maps

hong kong airport to Tsim Sha Tsui by bus or MTR

So I can actually take a MTR from the airport to TST? So can purchase the Octopus card at the airport and how much have to purchase for the Octopus card to start with?

1. Yes, from the airport, you can take Airport Express to get to Tsing Yi Station first. Then take Tung Chung Line to Nam Cheong Station and West Rail Line to East Tsim Sha Tsui Station, Exit N5. It takes around 50 mins on the way with the fare of 60 HKD per person.
2. You can easily find the Octopus Card Service Counter when you landing at the airport. There are clear English signs that can help you find the direction. Don't worry. For the Standard Adult Octopus Card, the deposit is 50 HKD and initial stored value is 100 HKD.
