About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

No ARC, German tourist to South Korea apply Student Visa X2

Hi!
I would like to ask whether it is possible to apply for a Chinese Student X2 type entry permit as a tourist in South Korea.

Yeah, it's a little bit difficult, but you can have a try. It requires those documents including your passport and its photocopy, the application form and recently-taken bareheaded color photo, your valid entry permit to South Korea, as well as the offer issued by Chinese education institutions and its copy.

Because it requires you to provide proof of legal status in Korea such as the original and photocopy of your valid certificates of residence, employment or student status, or other valid certificates of legal stay provided by the relevant authorities of Korea, but you are tourist there. Anyway, it may be possible, just have a try.
