What kind of visa + multiple entry possible?

Dear sir/madam,

I'm a Dutch citizen and planning to do a 5 month internship/graduation project at a company in Zhuhai. I have never been in China and would like to ask you some questions:
-which type of entry permit do I need for this?
-Is it possible to have a multi entry type? ( If yes, do i need all traveling tickets before hand for the entering and exiting of the country?)
-how and where to apply?
-Which role does the company play in this and what do I need from them?
-Do I need a separate entry permit to enter Hong Kong (for example in the weekends)

I thank you in advance.

Karl

1. If you receive payments from the internship, you need to apply for Z type; if not, F type is enough for your situation.
2. It’s possible to apply for multiple entries, but the final decision is made by the consular officers according to the reasons you provided.
3. You should apply for it at the CVASC. First, prepare all the required materials and then submit them to CVASC. Both Z and F types require your passport and its photocopy, completed application form with a recent bareheaded photo glued. Other relevant documents vary a little.
For Z type, an invitation letter from duly authorized unit or confirmation letter, and work permit are needed.
F type requires an official invitation letter issued by the company and air ticket booking record (round trip) and proof of accommodation reservation.
4. The company can help you get the work permit and you need to get an invitation from there.
5. You don’t need to apply for entry permit to HK because you can enjoy free stay there for no more than 90 days.
