Generally speaking, October to March, and July to August are high tourism season. But it will be typhoon season in July and August. The frequent heavy rainy days will influence the sightseeing. And in usual time, there won't have crowded people in scenic areas. And the expenses of accommodation will be lower.

The best season to visit is from October to March, weather is cooler and less humid. HK is visited by large amount of tourists, mainly Chinese Mainlanders, throughout the year. February is less busy owing to Chinese New Year because some shops and restaurants are closed. June to August is our typhoon season, it's hot and humid but perhaps you will find some good hotel rates. Welcome and good luck!
