Transit 24 Hours at Guangzhou

I'm from Vietnam and gonna head to Korea, transit in Guangzhou nearly (20h transit via China Southern Airline). In this case, do I need to apply transit visa from PRC Embassy in Vietnam before landing, or can I get the permit stamp on my passport at immigration to go out no more than 24h?

Dorin, you don't need the transit permit from the embassy and you can get a stamp on your passport, namely, a temporary stay permit, which allows you to go out of the airport during the layover period.
