About:Requirements for China Green Card (Permanent Residence Permit)

Can a Permanent Residence Holder Teach in China?

Hi, I'd appreciate it very much if someone could help the following questions for a friend of mine:

1. Which category do I belong to in your article?
He is over 18 and under 60 who have parents reside in PRC. I don't see any option for his status.

2. Can one teach in PRC when holding a Permanent Residence permit?

Thanks,
Sky

Sky, do you mean that your friend has got the permanent residence permit of PRC? If yes, he can teach in PRC and no visa is required for him.

Hi Jason, Thank you so much for answering question #2. No. He has not. #2 is an hypothetical question. We would also like to know how to apply a Permanent Residence permit (Chinese Green Card) . The article doesn't seem to address those who are over 18 and under 60 who have parents reside in PRC. Thanks.

Sorry, I'm afraid it's nearly impossible for him to get the permanent residence permit. If he wants to teach in PRC, he should secure a Z type visa before entering.
