About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am flying from the Netherlands, to Beijing, to NZ. Do I qualify for the 72 hour policy?

I am flying from the Netherlands to Beijing to Auckland (NZ). I am staying 71,5 hours in Beijing, so I qualify for the 72 hour policy. But my flight from Beijing to Auckland has a stop over in Guangzhou. This is 1,5 hours and just to step into another plane, so I don't leave the airport. There is no other option, because there is no direct flight to Auckland. Do I still qualify for the 72 hour policy? So, is Guangzhou seen as a new destination in China or just as a transfer because my destination is Auckland. Or should I add the time in Beijing ánd Guangzhou together and then it has to be not more then 72 hours?

You don´t qualify for the 72h twov as you can´t have a stopover in another chinese city.

You must leave China nonstop to qualify for 72h.
