Hello, Gaebriel, can I know what do you plan to do in PRC? If it is for leisure purpose, I'm afraid it's impossible to apply for an L type for 3 months and it may be 60 days at most. The time given is up to the reasons you provided and the final decision is made by the consular officers. So you need to make full preparation about your purpose and itinerary to PRC. As for the second question, it's possible to extend it in PRC.
