Hello,I am an American who has been offered a job contract for a year in mainland. I am married to a Nepalese women who if I accept plans to join me. Would this be an issue? She is a physiotherapist also, what are the chances she could work?

Tommy, if she plans to work, then she needs to find a job and apply for the Z type like you did. But it is difficult for her to find an employer to recruit her because of her profession. Another option is that she applies for the S1 type to stay with you. You need to send her invitation letter and copies of your passport and resident permit for employment. However, she can't work under S1 type.
