To change business visa to Z type

I m working for a Singapore based import export company, they send me to china to meet some buyers on business visit type, now company decided to allocate me for one year. can I change my business visit type to Z type without going back to my native country. My company opened an office as "Resident representative office of foreign (region) enterprise".
