About:Thousand Islets Lake Cruise

is it possible to get to the Qiandao lake from Huangshan mountain?

i will be in huangshan area for two days in February, and planning to go to Jiuhua mountain after that. In between, i'd like to have something to see while giving legs some rest.
Do you know any convinient way to get to the lake from the huangshan area as well as get back there before night?
And overall do you think it's worth seeing the place in February?

Perhaps, you can make it. There are two direct buses from Yellow Mountain to the lake. It departs at 06:20 and 13:30. It takes around 3 hours and costs around CNY 80 per person. If you catch the first bus, then you might get there before 10:00. The return bus departs at 14:30. You still have around 3 hours to visit the lake.

Please understand that the bus goes back to Yellow Mountain. If you want to get back to the Huangshan City, then you need to catch the one departs at 12:45. In this case, I am afraid that you may not have enough time to visit the lake.

Lastly, bus schedule is for your reference only. It's possible that the schedule might be changed without prior notice.
