About:A Full List ¨C 21 Customs of Chinese New Year

Is it considered bad luck for the celebration to start before the actual new year?

We have concerns about celebrating 1 week before the February 8th due to scheduling conflicts. Is this considered bad luck? Thanks!

Andrew, there is no such a saying. But it's awkward to do the celebration too early.
