Hangzhou Public Bicycle card purchase

Hi,
1) I intend to spend 4 hours in West Lake & a quick stroll around Qin HeFang street. Is it sufficient time?
2) Is it too cold and will there be autumn colour leaves in West Lake during early December?
3) I heard near West Lake there's only 4 areas to purchase the Transportation IC card (Z card) for public bicycle rental. May I know where to purchase? Also where to get the refund?
Thank you.

1. The West Lake is a large scenic area. 4 hours are too tight to cover both of the attractions. Anyway, you may consider cycling around the lake in 1-2 hours (but can be cold in Dec.) and then head for the Qinghefang Street for a quick stroll.
2. It is cold to roam around along the lake and the temperature usually ranges from 0C to 12C in early Dec. But autumn foliage can be found. You are suggested to go in the morning, because they will clean the leaves soon.
3. As I know, there are more than four sites. Don't worry! I have a suggestion: get an IC card at the site in the east of West Lake Impression, opposite the General Yue Fei Tomb, where you can also return and get the refund. It is in service from 6:30 to 21:00.

Hope help!

Thank you for the great tip. However is there any booth selling the card at West Lake nearer to Qing Hefang? Or is there a Qing Hefang booth? So that I can start and end my cycling at around Qing HeFang area. Thank you

Well, it is reported that many of the small card service centers have been closed due to low customer flow. To avoid any trouble, you are advised to rent and refund the card at Longxiangqiao Subway Station (Exit C1). It is one of the major service centers close to West Lake. You can rent a card there and cycling around the lake. After returning the bike and card, you can walk to the nearby Dongpo Road Pinghai Road to take bus 60 to Gaoyin Street (4 stops), then walk eastward for about 400 yards to Qinghefang. Have fun~
