Can the company cancel the Z type, and can I renew without leaving the country?

Hello! I need really your consultation and help.
I came to China to work as a teacher of English with Z type entry permit, and within 30 days i need to require for residence permit. The problem is that I concluded a contract for a year with a Chineese company, mediator, who has to find me a job in school. But indeed the company is very bad player. I still didnt get my RP...without work..without money... Almost a month here... In the contract said that they can cancelled my Z type if I will break the conditions of contract. But you know, the way they behave with us, teachers, is very disgusting and not fair. So I wanted to try to find a work in another city....and to work directly with schools. So how can i do it legally... i mean can they really cancel it... how me to find way for my escape fron this prison...
I would appreciate for any help and advice. Thank you

Oksana, yes, the company can cancel your work permit and the Z type can only allow you to stay in PRC for 30 days. In principle, you need to get a residence permit during the 30 days. If you can't, you may overstay after the 30 days. So I think if you can now find a new company to employ you and the current company is willing to provide the release letter, then you can ask the new company to get a work permit and residence permit for you. But according to what you stated above, it has been almost one month since you entered, so it’s unlikely to do that due to lack of time. Thus, if you don’t want to overstay or work in the current company, you’d better exit before the 30 days run out.

If the company has already submitted the application for the residence permit to the exit and entry administration, then you don't need to worry about it.
