About:Kunming Attractions

What should we see in Kunming and where is the best area/location to stay as a family?

We are going as a family of 4 to in December. We are staying for 3 nights, so we have 2 whole days. What should we see in the city? :) Where is the best area/location to stay as a family? Does it rain in December?

For sightseeing, the Dianchi Lake, Yunnan Nationalities Village and Stone Forest are the must-sees. For shopping and dining, don't miss the Nanping Street and Jinma Biji Lane, which are within walking distance.

I suggest you stay near Dongfeng Square, which is close to the two pedestrian streets and the transportation is convenient nearby. I stayed in the Fairyland Hotel (Dongfeng Square branch). You may also try to search for it.

It is mostly sunny days in Dec. The possibility of rain is small. Although it rains, it is very light and will stop soon. Generally, Dec. is pleasant to travel.
