There is a MTR day pass for tourists for HKD 55. It is valid for 1 month from the day of issue, and includes one day of unlimited ride on MTR (except Airport Express, MTR Bus, East Rail Line First Class, Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau stations). 24 consecutive hours starting from the recorded entry time of the first journey.

There is no MTR ticket for a week. But you may buy the Octopus Card instead. The card can be used to take metros, buses, and even go shopping. It is very convenient.
