5-10 Dec 2015. is this a peak period,do we need to book a high speed train in advance

Is 5-10 Dec 2015 a peak period from Shanghai to Hangzhou, Nanjing ,Suzhou ? do we need to book a high speed train in advance ? Thanks.

These date should not be very hot dates for the short trip like Shanghai Hangzhou etc. You can try to buy the ticket on spot. But it is still advisable to check the availability online often. If you find it become limited, you can then book it online in advance.
